I love the strange buildings in the background, they give a strange sence of the future, while the man's use of a crowbar gives a sence of less modern times. Also love how you were able to give his clothing texture and make them look a bit worn with scratches and indents. Great job

Thanks. :) The look is my version of the "official look". The time indeed should be leass modern and yet at the same time not, the story's supposed to take place in a decayed Easter European town called "City 17".

This is such an interesting picture, it immediately makes you think about about the story (if there is any) behind this picture. Whoops, the name Gordon Freeman does sound kinda familiar. Half-life am I right? Haven´t played the game, but I have read some reviews about it. Well you have certainly done a good work with this one, the coloring especially rather impressive.

Not much of the story has been revealed yet, but the first Half Life had such an excellent story, that this one's not likely to disappoint. In the first game it was Freeman himself (the player) who accidentally opened a gateway to the world of Xen in the Black Mesa research facility, and at the end of the game the player could choose between being a good guy (and practically commiting a suicide) or being a bad guy and joining the strange organization presented by the G-man in the pic.

Oh nooo Gordon, you swore you would only use the crowbar for good! Hehheh.. I always wanted to kill that G-man. I even spawned the modelfile into the game to get at him but the game programmers hadn't made a death animation for him so he just stood there and took the punches! Damn his oily hide! ... I hope he'll be killable in HL2 because I hate him ;)

Joo. Pelit lehdessä oli ennakoissa juttua tuosta kakkososasta, juoni vaikuttaa kyllä sen verran hyvältä että on pakko pelata. Kunhan nyt vain saisi sen ykkösen pelailtua jossain vaiheessa alta pois.
